Custom Textile Boxes

Custom textile boxes are engineered for storage, shipping, and shelf display of fabric, garments, costumes, and linens. Fabric compresses, creases, and absorbs humidity, so a generic carton leaves crush marks, mildew, or lignin yellowing on delicate light-coloured material. Protect your wedding dress, uniforms, flags, bedding sets, and luxury silk with structures built around the fibre inside. Choose window cutouts for shelf appeal, tray-and-lid or two-piece rigid for full protection, and foam, cardstock, or velvet-lined inserts for a premium unboxing moment.

Sizing a Box for Fabric

You cannot design or cut a box while your fabric is loose on the table. The fabric must be folded exactly the way it will ship before you can determine the ideal dimensions. Another critical point: textiles compress by roughly 10% to 20%, so if you order an oversized box without accounting for that compression, the contents will slide, unfold, and arrive looking mishandled.

Below is our standard sizing chart, though we will customize dimensions the moment you send us your folded measurements. Calculating your die-cut costs you nothing.

Product Folded size (approx.) Suggested box
T-shirt 10" × 8" × 1.5" 11" × 9" × 2"
Dress shirt 14" × 9" × 2" 15" × 10" × 2.5"
Scarf / dupatta 10" × 8" × 1" 11" × 9" × 1.5"
Towel set 12" × 10" × 4" 13" × 11" × 5"
Queen bedding set 14" × 11" × 4" 15" × 12" × 5"
Boxed gown 24" × 18" × 6" 25" × 19" × 7"

Board Choices for Your Textile Business

Every supply chain has different demands. Choosing the right board doesn't only protect the product in transit it gives your product a premium, pristine image on the retail shelf.

Retail display cardboard (16pt–24pt): Cardboard is the most widely used material for retail display because it offers a high-resolution, sharp canvas for custom printing. A die-cut window elevates the apparel presentation further, making it the default choice for printed textile boxes.

Bulk shipping and e-commerce (B-flute or corrugated): Textiles are stacked on warehouse pallets and tossed into courier bins, so B-flute (32 ECT) is ideal for stacking and bulk transit. E-flute delivers crush resistance while keeping shipping weight low the practical standard for textile shipping boxes.

Presentation and gifting (rigid wrapped greyboard, 1.5mm–3mm): Luxury items demand luxury packaging. These heavy-duty structures wrap in fine art paper for a genuinely premium finish, perfect for luxury textile boxes and textile gift boxes.

Long-term storage (acid-free and lignin-free): Never shrink-wrap natural fibres like cotton, wool, or cashmere they draw moisture from the air. Ordinary unbleached kraft turns acidic as it ages and yellows the fabric over time. Uncoated paperboard breathes naturally, making it the correct medium for archival storage.

Fixing Textile Packaging Problems

Preventing dye transfer: Pressure and warmth cause heavy ink on interior walls to transfer onto light-coloured fabric. Keep interior printing minimal and place an uncoated white food-safe liner or an acid-free tissue layer between the garment and the printed surface.

Moisture and breathability: Natural fibres pull moisture from the air, so they should never be sealed in shrink wrap or poly-sealed cartons long term. Uncoated paperboard prevents mildew during extended storage.

Preventing fold creasing: Every fold in luxury linen becomes a permanent crease over time. Place tissue between folds and specify deeper fabric packaging boxes so the folds sit softer.

Premium Box Styles for Your Brand

  • Two-piece tray and lid the absolute standard: strong, stackable, and user-friendly.
  • Rigid magnetic closure widely used for bridal collections, high-end gifting, and luxury duvet sets for a premium unboxing experience.
  • Window die-cut reveals the product and showcases rich colour and texture.
  • Shallow shirt boxes sleek profile that prevents garment movement in transit, ideal for garment packaging boxes.
  • Self-locking corrugated mailers offer clean, tape-free assembly that looks professional.
  • Swatch and sample boxes with compartment trays designed for fashion houses, interior designers, and mills, so buyer samples arrive looking premium.

Printing Your Textile Boxes

Your box is an extension of your brand and should match the quality of the product inside. We offer CMYK offset and digital printing with precise PMS matching, because consistent colour reproduction across e-commerce imagery and look books is vital to brand equity. Soft-touch lamination creates a velvety tactile finish. Matte lamination is elegant, glare-free, and highly fingerprint-resistant. Foil stamping and embossing give bridal wear and luxury goods a timeless appeal. Uncoated eco-friendly kraft suits sustainability-driven brands, recycling cleanly and lowering unit cost. Every option is available on custom textile boxes with logo placement of your choice.

Optimize Your Textile Packaging Budget

Two strategies keep unit costs low without sacrificing beauty.

Standardize your sizes. Consolidate your line into two or three box footprints instead of commissioning a custom die-cut for every SKU. Branded tissue and internal inserts then adapt each box to different garments.

Use sleeves and belly bands. Rather than reprinting entire custom textile packaging boxes every season, invest in neutral high-end boxes and refresh the seasonal look with interchangeable paper sleeves or belly bands a brand-new aesthetic at a fraction of the cost.

Ordering, Zero Hidden Charges, and Timelines

We've streamlined the entire process to keep your supply chain moving. Orders start at a minimum of just 50 boxes. There are no hidden plate charges, die fees, or design markups, and zero start-up fees. Send us your artwork and folded dimensions and our team builds ready-to-print files at no charge. You receive a 3D digital proof before a single sheet of board is cut, so every change happens before production. Standard production runs 8 to 12 business days after proof approval, with rush production available in 4 to 6 business days. We accept PNG, SVG, JPG, AI, PSD, and PDF files at 300 DPI.

So, What Are You Waiting For?

It's common practice for suppliers to advertise a low unit price upfront, then add steep plate setup and die fees to the final invoice. We quote the exact price with no hidden charges. The quote you receive is the final price, delivered to your door with free worldwide shipping. With capacity for over 500,000 boxes per month, we scale seamlessly from a low first minimum to full inventory production, so you'll never hunt for a new supplier mid-collection and textile boxes wholesale pricing improves as your volume grows.

If you are ready to elevate your textile business, send us your folded dimensions, required quantity, and the purpose of your box retail shelf, bulk shipping, or long-term storage and we'll return a comprehensive comparative quote with a custom 3D proof within 24 hours, free and with zero obligation.
