Corrugated Cube Boxes Built to Spec
A cube box is a corrugated carton with identical length, width, and height. That symmetry isn't decorative; it's structural. Equal dimensions distribute compression evenly across all six panels, so a stack of cubes holds its column strength better than mixed-dimension cartons, and palletises with almost no wasted cubic space. For warehouses paying by the pallet position and sellers paying by dimensional weight, that geometry is money.
We make our custom corrugated cube boxes to your exact internal dimensions, print the outside, and ship them flat for assembly on your line. If you're currently buying a stock 6x6x6 and filling the gap with void fill, a right-sized cube usually pays for itself in reduced fill and lower freight.

Anything outside that range is quotable; tell us the product dimensions, and we will calculate the box, including the allowance for board caliper so your item actually fits.
Board Grades and Flute Selection
This is where most cube box orders go wrong, so we quote it explicitly:
- E-flute (1/16" / 1.6mm) is the finest common flute. Smooth outer liner, so it takes high-resolution litho printing cleanly. The right choice for printed retail cube boxes and subscription packaging where graphics matter.
- B-flute (1/8" / 3mm) offers better crush resistance with decent print quality. A good middle ground for e-commerce cube shipping boxes.
- C-flute (5/32" / 4mm) offers higher stacking strength and cushioning, standard for shipping cartons.
- BC double wall (1/4" / 7mm) two flutes bonded together for heavy, dense, or high-value loads, long transit lanes, or anything that will be stacked deep.
- F-flute ultra-fine, for very small cubes where board thickness would eat the internal dimension.
Standard single-wall production runs at ECT 32 board strength, which covers the majority of parcel shipments. Higher ECT grades and double-wall construction are available for heavier products. Tell us the gross weight per box and how high they'll be stacked, and we'll specify the grade rather than guessing.
Stock is available in natural kraft for a recycled, unbleached look, or white top for clean retail presentation and accurate colour reproduction.
Cube Box Constructions
Cube isn't one structure. We produce:
- RSC cube regular slotted container with meeting flaps. The workhorse for shipping and master cartons, taped top and bottom.
- One-piece mailer cube with self-locking front tuck, assembles without tape, the standard for DTC and subscription shipments.
- Two-piece lid and base cube with a separate telescoping lid, the premium gifting format. Popular for candles, spirits, and corporate kits.
- Tuck-top auto-bottom cube pops open and locks flat-bottom in one motion, the fastest to pack at volume.
- Window cube boxes die-cut aperture with optional PET film so the product is visible on shelf.
- Stackable display cubes printed on all visible faces, designed to build branded retail towers in-store or at trade shows.
Every order includes a free dieline before production so your designer works to real measurements.
Printing, Finishing and Inserts
Print runs from unprinted kraft through full CMYK, CMYK plus one or two PMS spot colours, and digital for shorter runs where plate economics don't work. A cube gives you six printable faces, roughly 50% more surface than an equivalent-volume rectangular carton, which is why brands use it for storytelling, ingredient panels, and QR-linked content.
Finishing includes gloss and matte lamination, soft-touch coating, gloss AQ, gloss and matte UV, spot UV, embossing, debossing, and gold, silver, rose gold or holographic foil stamping. Note that heavily fluted board takes embossing differently to flat stock; we will advise which finishes suit your chosen flute rather than quoting something that won't hold.
For fragile contents, we add corrugated partitions, die-cut pads or foam inserts sized to the product, which is usually cheaper than paying for void fill on every order.
Stacking, Freight and Storage
Cubes ship to you flat, so inbound freight and storage cost less than pre-formed alternatives. Outbound, the even weight distribution means cleaner pallet patterns and fewer damaged corners in transit. If you're optimising for dimensional weight, send us the product dimensions and your carrier; sometimes a cube is the right answer, and sometimes a shallower footprint bills less. We'll tell you either way.

E-commerce and subscription brands use printed cube mailers for the unboxing moment. Candle and home fragrance companies use them because the square footprint supports glass vessels on all sides. Minimum Order, Turnaround and Pricing
Minimum run is 50 boxes, with no upper limit we process bulk volume for recurring wholesale orders. There are no die-cut, plate, or setup charges, so testing a new size costs nothing beyond stock. Pricing scales with quantity, flute, print coverage, and finishing; quotes are itemised so you can see what each upgrade adds.
